TikTok Download Quality
Savett saves the highest-bitrate rendition the TikTok CDN lists for a post, with no re-encoding pass. That means the quality you get is the quality TikTok published — these pages explain what each rung of that ladder looks like and when it exists at all.
- 4K Ultra HD2160×3840 verticalTikTok playback renditions stop well short of 4K, so a 2160×3840 file exists only when the creator master does.
- Full HD 1080p1080×1920 verticalFull HD on TikTok means a 1080×1920 portrait rendition at a few megabits per second.
- HD 720p720×1280 verticalA 720×1280 portrait rendition is what TikTok serves when a post has no Full HD version, and it is the lighter option when storage or bandwidth is tight.
- HD (High Definition)720×1280 or 1080×1920HD covers the 720×1280 and 1080×1920 portrait renditions TikTok serves.
- SD 480p480×854 verticalStandard definition sits at the bottom of the TikTok ladder and is served on poor connections.
- High QualityUp to 1080×1920Savett takes the highest-bitrate MP4 rendition the TikTok CDN lists for a post and streams those exact bytes to you, with no re-encode and no rescaling.
- Audio OnlyN/AAudio extraction works when TikTok publishes a music URL for the post.
- Vertical (9:16)1080×1920 when the post has itTikTok encodes in portrait, so a download is already 9:16.
- Compressed (Small File)Unchanged by the downloadSavett never re-encodes, so a smaller file comes either from a lower TikTok rendition or from your own pass through ffmpeg or HandBrake afterwards.
No downloader can produce a resolution TikTok never encoded. Where a rendition is rarely published, the page says so rather than promising it.
