Frequently Asked Questions
What does Savett do differently from Tok2MP4?
Tok2MP4 cannot be compared feature by feature: its domain returned no response when it was checked in October 2026, so there is no working page to test. Savett runs in the browser with no install, saves an MP4 without the TikTok watermark, and also covers audio extraction, slideshows, story and cover images, live-stream recording, bulk profile downloads and the profile and hashtag tools.
Is there anything Tok2MP4 does better than Savett?
Nothing can be credited to it. No version of tok2mp4.com answered a request in October 2026, so there was nothing to test.
Is Savett free?
The single-link tools are free: paste a URL and the download starts. An account exists only for the paid tiers. Paid tiers raise the usage limits; they are not needed to download a video.
Does Savett store my downloads?
The file is not stored: no account for any single-link tool. The file streams through the server and is not written to disk; the only record kept is one anonymous row holding the TikTok link, title and author, with no IP address and no user ID attached.
What resolution does Savett save?
Savett saves the resolution TikTok itself returns for the clip, saved as MP4 without a re-encode and without a quality menu to get wrong.
