Download TikTok Videos on Android
Complete guide for Android users - Step-by-step instructions to download TikTok videos on your mobile
How to Download TikTok Videos on Android
Step 1
Open the TikTok app and tap the Share arrow to the right of the post, or press and hold the video and pick Copy link from the sheet that slides up.
Step 2
Copy link produces a short vt.tiktok.com address. Savett follows that redirect server side, and it accepts the long www.tiktok.com/@name/video/ form you get from a browser just as readily.
Step 3
Open Chrome, Samsung Internet, Firefox or Edge, go to savett.co, then long press the field and tap Paste, or use the clipboard button at the right end of the field.
Step 4
Tap Download and keep the tab in the foreground until it finishes. The MP4 is written to the phone's shared Download folder, the one at /storage/emulated/0/Download that Files by Google lists as Downloads, and a notification appears when the file is ready.
Pro Tips
- 💡Gallery apps treat Download as an album of its own rather than part of the camera roll. Moving the file into Movies or DCIM with Files by Google puts it next to your own recordings.
- 💡On Samsung phones the same file sits under My Files > Internal storage > Download, and Samsung Internet keeps its download arrow in the bottom toolbar instead of the top.
- 💡Photo posts arrive as JPG slides, one by one or bundled as savett.co-photos.zip, and Files by Google extracts that archive in place without another app.
- 💡Nothing is installed and no account is needed for single posts, so there is no APK to sideload. A browser bookmark is the entire setup.
- 💡If the download notification never appears, check that the browser still has permission to write files and that the tab was not closed while the transfer was running.
- 💡Saving someone else's post strips the watermark but not their ownership of the clip. Credit and permission are still your responsibility once the file leaves the phone.
